Diamond Road Arabians is a small stud based on New South Wales picturesque mid-north coast. We breed purebred Arabian horses and high percentage Arabian derivatives that have won at the highest levels, in various disciplines.
Our goal is to produce a functional, handsome animal that will suit the desired discipline of its owner. As the original all-rounder, the Arabian horse is suitable for many equine pursuits and has excelled at them all. Diamond Road bred horses compete in endurance, dressage, pony club, halter and ridden events...and some of them are simply best friends and riding companions for their owners. On our farm, we place great importance on ridden ability as first and foremost, our horses are our riding companions.
Our stud is based around our mares, and we place great importance on our mare families.
Our purebred program really began with the purchase of the exquisite Naadirah Family mare Clifton Park Nefisa. Nefisa and her daughters have set the standard for what we expect from our mares.
Several special mares have since been introduced, some of whom are closely related to Nefisa, and others an outcross who bring their own special qualities to the herd.
Some of these mares have become Mare Families in their own right here at Diamond Road.

Our Arabian derivative program is based on the famous National Champion palomino mare Amaki's Golden Imp.
All of the derivatives in our stud trace back to this great mare, most prominently our very successful stallion Ray of Light, the last foal from Golden Imp.
