Amaki's Impre'vu

Amaki's Impre'vu was the final filly from our foundation mare Amaki's Golden Imp. Although we had long coveted her, we had never dreamed she would be available to us however after a series of serendipitous events, Impre'vu was able to find her forever home at our farm.

As the story goes, her breeder Diane Gale was not aware that Amaki's Golden Imp was in foal until quite late in the pregnancy, so thus upon her unexpected arrival, this delightful buckskin filly was named Impre'vu...meaning 'unexpected incident'. We think it is a rather clever name...especially considering the way she found her way home to us.

Amaki's Impre'vu was shown as a young horse to several wins, including Supreme Junior Part Arabian at the National Capital Show, and Reserve East Coast Champion Yearling Part Arabian Filly. Like her mother, she has been a significant broodmare with several winning progeny including the mare Amaki's De Ja'vu, Reserve Champion Buckskin Mare at the Sydney Royal and Supreme Champion Part Arabian Exhibit at the 2010 Victorian Classic. In 2011 she was Supreme Led Exhibit at the 2011 Queensland DIlute Championships.

Her buckskin son Diamond Road Abrax (by Shakla's Eclipse) was Australian National Champion Yearling Colt, and then went on to win Championship after Championship both at halter and under saddle. We are extremely proud of him.

In 2019 Amaki's Impre'vu finally blessed us with a buckskin filly by Vesuvio. She has been retained, and we are excited about her future.
