Amongst all the horror of recent fires, we did have one small miracle which brought some happiness to our farm.
Our NYE baby - a gorgeous colt by Australian Champion Vesuvio (Azteq LBA x Valouria) from Nira (Naavah x Clifton Park Neeka).
Interestingly, in these first two generations of his pedigree, four of the six horses are Australian Champions, one is a QLD State Titles Champion Mare and Australian Championships Top Ten, and his dear old mother has never been shown. Quite a pedigree really...and if you go further back, there are even more champions. One to watch.
